This is an exciting and new look at genies- not the grandeur we might associate with making wishes. These genies are rather unique looking and many are keen to cause chaos and disorder, all in anger over their treatment from humans. Relic proves to be a brilliant character, one who starts to find his feet in this new society! Relic Hamilton, Genie Hunter is an engaging MG adventure and fantasy book with a relatable main character, the twelve year old Relic. We also have an evil genie, an underground academia, an illustration style that oozes motion. I highly recommend this cute book. * Netgalley Reviewer *

Author Bio

Joseph Coelho is an award-winning poet, playwright and writer. His first poetry collection, Werewolf Club Rules!, won the CLPE Children's Poetry Award in 2015, and he has been writing and performing ever since. He is the author of the Fairy Tales Gone Bad trilogy Zombierella, Frankenstiltskin and Creeping Beauty all illustrated by Freya Hartas. Originally from London, he now lives by the sea in Kent.
