5th Ramion collection. Fantasy adventures set in the magical land of Ramion and Kent village of Shoreham. Contains three stand-alone, fantastical stories. In Boris and the Dumb Skulls Griselda's pet skull and her guards the dim daft dwarves (fed up with being bullied by the witch) form a punk band, seek freedom, but two of Griselda's dead ancestors break out of their preserving tanks, Fifi Vicomtesse de Grunch very keen on dancing, the Vicomte expressing his feelings towards her dancing partners with a large spanner. The boys' father comes to regret dancing with her. In The Dream Thief the three boys travel to the Land of Dreams to recover their mother's stolen dream and (by a cosmic freak) are joined in the adventure by their mother as a 6 year old girl. But their mother's dream is not all that is at stake: life in a universe without dreams would not be worth living. In Frankie and the Dancing Furies The Old Vicarage comes under attack by an elemental storm which carries the boys' father off to a land of dance and rock and roll where he becomes possessed by the spirit of Jimi Hendrix. The boys have to rescue him (with help from Scrooey-Looey half-mad rabbit friend and Snuggle Dream Lord and super hero).
