Susan is an author, speaker, public relations professional and book reviewer. She grew up in a Chicago suburb and graduated from NIU with a degree in journalism, then became a newspaper reporter before moving to New Mexico. Living in Albuquerque, she landed a job with KOB-TV and worked as a television reporter for a couple of years before returning to Illinois. The author of three young adult novels and one children's wildlife book, Susan also has several short stories published in anthologies. She is president of the American Christian Fiction Writers Chicago Chapter, a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and a member of Willow Creek Community Church. She loves to travel, especially with her family, and enjoys photography, hiking, boating, snorkeling and diving, cooking, baking, and reading.
