An average boy meets a not-so-average-sized giant! When thirteen-year-old Charlie Lawson discovers a giant (yes, a real giant) hiding in an abandoned warehouse, he finds himself smack in the middle of a doctor's evil plot to capture these harmless, gentle creatures and harvest their growth hormones. On the other side of this fight, a small secret group of humans try to help the giants--Bruce in particular--from being exposed. Charlie joins them to fight for what is right, but more than that, he just wants his friend Bruce to be free of being anyone's guinea pig. This middle grade debut is an exciting look into a world of evil doctors with even eviler plans and an average boy with a not-so average-sized new friend.
"Middle schoolers with a need for action and adventure will scoop up this title."--School Library Journal
"Prepare for massive wedgies, stolen Hummers, impromptu parades, and more. Plus, Paul's and
Solomon's treatment of trust, prejudice, and boundless loyalty is spot-on."--Booklist
