Elizabeth Pulford was born in Canada in 1943, raised and educated in Dunedin, and currently lives in Waikouaiti, Otago. Illustrator of the beautiful The Mouse That Danced and the award-winning Old Hu-Hu, Rachel and her partner Michael Greenfield worked together on the design of the book to ensure that the layout is just as special as the artwork.
