Save the world but live forever. Peter and Festival have a terrifying choice to make ...When Peter and his friend Festival destroyed the book called How To Live Forever so it could no longer work its spell, they didn t know it would have disastrous consequences. Now, Peter s world is in the worst drought ever and Festival s world, inside the museum, is drowning. The only solution is to re-create the book. Can they reverse the water flow And if they re-create the evil book, can they hide it so it can never be read again
"Not since Umberto Eco's The Name of the Rose have libraries been so celebrated. Book-lovers and library-haunters will be enchanted. We who know the mysterious powers of the library will not be at all surprised by the goings on in Peter's museum, behind its hidden doors." --Virginia Lowe, winner of the 2004 Aurealis Award for Children's Novels--Short Fiction on How to Live Forever
"Peter is a young boy who reminds us all what a wonderful thing it is to be curious and to find courage we don't realise is within us. . . . Thompson's writing is smooth and his storytelling agile. He introduces us to a world rich with characters and landscapes both grotesque and charming, and he fills this book with friendship and love." --Aurealis Awards Judges' Report 2004 on How to Live Forever
