Best friends Ashley Sanchez (Ash) and Ashlee Taylor (Lee) agree that being a sister can be tough. What they don't agree on is which of them has it tougher. When they both argue that their situation is worse, the two girls decide to switch places for a day. Ash can't wait to spend time with Lee's cool older sister, Mallory. Lee is excited to bond with Ash's adorable baby brother, Sam. But when the sibling swap doesn't go as expected, will Ash and Lee still wish to trade places AGES: 6-8 AUTHOR: Raised in the Chicago suburb of Hoffman Estates, Michele Jakubowski has the teachers in her life to thank for her love of reading and writing. While writing has always been a passion for Michele, she believes it is the books she has read throughout the years, and the teachers who assigned them, that have made her the storyteller she is today. ILLUSTRATOR: Born in Transylvania, Hedi Fekete grew up watching and drawing her favourite cartoon characters. Each night, her mother read her beautiful bedtime stories, which made her love for storytelling grow. Hedi's love for books and animation stuck with her through the years, inspiring her to become an illustrator, digital artist, and animator.
Working at a school (and having two of her own children) gives Michele Jakubowski more than enough experiences to draw from when writing middle-level fiction. Michele has also written other popular books in the Sidney & Sydney series and the Perfectly Poppy early chapter book set. Michele lives in Powell, Ohio, with her husband, John, and their children, Jack and Mia.
