Author Bio

Sarah Christou is completing an MA in Children's Book Illustrationat Cambridge School of Art. She won the Faber/Andlyn FAB Prize for Illustration in 2019. In 2020 shecompleted a NCFE Cache Level 2 Certificate in UnderstandingChildren and Young People's Mental Health. She isbased in Saffron Waldon, near Cambridge.Sarah was inspired by her experiences of childhood traumaand the complex-PTSD it left her with. She used talkingtherapy as an adult to help her process her childhood experiences,learning that talking is key to managing mentalhealth, an idea that sits at the heart of Blue.
