Anne Morgan has taught in Tasmania, the Northern Territory and China. She has also worked as a professional actor, journalist and freelance writer . Besides the CAPTAIN CLAWBEAK series she has written WARTS 'N' ALL and THE GLOW WORM CAVE, which was shortlisted for the Environment Children's Literature Award 2000. She is currently a PhD candidate in creative writing at Edith Cowan University, Western Australia. ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR: Award-winning illustrator and designer, Wayne Harris, is well-known for the depth and quality of his work. Wayne lives in Sydney.
