Cat overcomes fear and makes a new friend; with simple rhyming text and bold illustrations for young readers.

In this story in the Cat and Friends series of full-colour board books, a dinosaur wants to play, but Cat is too scared! Cat runs far away, but the persistent dino doesnt give up that easily. Bold illustrations, colourful characters, and simple rhyming text enable new readers to develop their vocabulary, as well as encouraging the recognition and understanding of word structure through phonics. Printed as a board book, the story is nicely designed for toddlers, preschool, and kindergarten readers, introducing young readers to a range of vocabulary terms, rhyme, and rhythm.
