Julia dislikes her stepbrother, Robert, at first sight. He s not only a stranger, he s also a nerd and a bookworm. Her stepdad, Jeff, should never have cooped them all up together on an outback adventure to the goldfields.Especially since her pregnant mum is left home, and due to have a baby any week. The whole thing is a disaster waiting to happen. And happen it does. But it takes more than a stranded car, a flash flood and a critically injured Jeff, to bring things to a head between Julia and Robert. Their battles are not only those of survival and rescue, but of where they fit in their own and each other s family.
