Description

Fantastic Freddie and the Bad Case of Paranoia is a true story about rooster named Freddie running away from home. Encouraged by a longtime friend, the author wrote this book from Freddies perspective in an effort to understand his skewed thinking. Freddie is convinced that everyone is trying to get him. As it turns out, humans and birds are a lot alike. Because at the end of the day, fear can sometimes get the best of all of us.

Author Bio

I guess you can call me the Chicken Lady. When my family decided to raise chickens, a lot of people thought we had lost our minds. We don't live on a farm. We live in a neighborhood on one acre of land. We simply built a coop, went to the feed store, purchased the chickens, a heat lamp and some food and began our journey. I'm a thirty-something (none of your business) mother of three who works full-time and is married to a firefighter. Nothing is perfect here. We make mistakes. We're late most of the time, and our house is messy. We're just like your family, except we have chickens. "Why do (we) have chickens" you ask. I'm not sure. It just happened. It just felt like something we should do--to have hens, who lay eggs, and make no noise. And we got hens, yes. THREE hens. Not four. One was, in fact, NOT a hen. And the rest of the story... well, that's history.
