Author Bio

The Sunflowers, a musical duo formed by singer-songwriters Aaron and Julie Harris, have been present for several years in schools throughout the Salon-de-Provence region in the South of France. Their work has focused on using music and sport to introduce young children to the English language. Aaron is a former professional basketball player and graduate teacher from Kansas State University and Julie, who grew up in France, is currently employed as a social worker in the French educational system. Maud Legrand, a graduate of the Ecole des Arts dcoratifs in Strasbourg, has spent the past 20 years illustrating books for children that have been translated into several languages. Et ma petite main dans la tienne (My Little Hand in Yours), Cet enfant que j'aime infiniment (This Child That I Love to No End) and Le facteur Cheval et son palais idal (The Postman Named Cheval and His Ideal Palace) are some of her more recent publications. She presently lives in Nantes, France.
