She lives in St. Louis, Missouri. Vanessa Gutierrez is a digital artist and children's book illustrator for several titles, including No Means No and Best Buddies. She is also an educational illustrator for Lexercise and designs characters for multilingual educational videos. Vanessa studied graphic design at Zulia University in Maracaibo, Venezuela.
