Description

Everything on the Island of Ashes is grey, from the weather to the castle, the grass and the flowers. Author Bio

Ian Beck was taught in art school by Raymond Briggs and has gone on to become one of the UK's best-loved illustrators and authors for children. As well as his children's books, he is well-known as the illustrator of Elton John's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road album cover.
