MARCIE COLLEEN is the acclaimed children's author of Penguinaut!, Survivor Tree, and numerous other books brimming with heart, humor, and hope. Her own Friendsgiving celebrations have spanned coast to coast, filled with laughter and a table brimming with festive dishes (don't forget the pie!). Marcie lives in San Diego, California with her husband and a beloved herd of stuffed animals. LAURA SANDOVAL HERRERA is a Mexican author-illustrator living in Brooklyn. Her colorful color palette and love of magic is inspired by her childhood spent in the small city of Queretaro, Mexico. Laura has an MFA in illustration from the School of Visual Arts. She loves sharing magical and heartfelt stories with culturally diverse characters and especially loves experimenting with texture and lots of color. When she is not drawing you can find her playing with her dog Scribble or checking out her favorite local bookstore. Happy Friendsgiving is her debut picture book.
