But sometimes emergencies happen.
When they do, look for the helpers!
Helpers are all around you.
Fire trucks, ambulances, police cars, and more crowd the pages of this shaped board book that teaches children to look for helpers wherever they go. With a search-and-find twist, each scene highlights different types of emergency vehicles in action. Look for the Helpers is an adventurous book that introduces little ones to the caring helpers who make the world safer.
Leslie Kimmelman is the author of numerous childrens books. She lives in a small town outside of New York City with her family and two dogs.
Barbara Bakos grew up in a suburb of Budapest next to a little forest. After graduating from the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Budapest, she worked as an art director and character and background designer for clients such as Disney Junior. A true artist at heart, Barbaras passion for creating whimsical worlds for her characters and exploring their stories helped her transition into the colorful world of childrens books as a full-time illustrator. She also enjoys travelling, but misses her big ginger cat and her favorite Johnny Cash discs while out on the road. Visit her website at CargoCollective.com/BarbaraBakos.
