Author Bio

Kat and her husband Ben traveled across the United States and Canada in 2014 doing educational outreach, letting kids see sunspots with their own eyes and generating excitement for all things Sun and Space Weather related. They ended the journey to welcome their daughter, Kira, who is the inspiration for this book with hopes to introduce other little ones to our Star! Kat currently lives in Albuquerque, NM with her husband, Kira's little brother Noah, and their two Yorkies.
