Colleen Stone, artist and illustrator, is happiest with her hands in wet paint, her feet on a trail through the forest, or visiting with the birds in her garden. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, nature is her constant inspiration. She dreams of a world where people are kind, animals can talk, and trees live forever. This is her first book.Brian Stone is a designer and writer inclined toward a balance of conceptual problem solving and expressive arts. An aspiring musician, he is most content while writing songs with his guitar and tending to his abundant houseplant collection.
