Author Bio

Blake A. Hoena grew up in central Wisconsin, where he wrote stories about robots conquering the moon and trolls lumbering around the woods behind his parents house. He now lives in Minnesota and enjoys writing about fun things like history, space aliens, and superheroes. Blake has written more than fifty chapter books and dozens of graphic novels for children. Freelance illustrator Jen Khatun is a graduate of Southampton Solent University. Based in beautiful South East England, she spends most of her time in big, cozy sweaters, scribbling another adventure on her pages, with a cup of tea as her loyal companion. Jen's work combines themes of nature, wildlife, and the element of magic sprinkled into everyday life. Mark Oblinger is an award-winning songwriter, composer, producer, and performer. He cowrote and produced the Grammy-nominated children's jazz symphony JumpinJazz Kids: A Swinging Jungle Tale and has won five Heartland Emmy Awards for his work as a composer/producer for the PBS children's show The Big Green Rabbit and the short films Yesterday's Zoo and The Sea I See.
