Jane Yolen is the childrens book author of hundreds of beloved and bestselling books, which have garnered numerous awards, including the Caldecott Award. She considers Love Birds a sequel of sorts to Owl Moon. Yolen lives in Massachusetts. Anna Wilson is a fine artist and illustrator. She lives in Edinburgh, Scotland, with her husband, an ornithologist.
