Description

Could Spyforce possibly be real Max Remy is about to find out what it takes to be a Superspy ...Max Remy is twelve and hates almost everything except superspy Alex Crane, a fictitious character Max has invented who works for a secret spy agency called Spyforce. When Max is sent off to the bush to spend time with her aunt and uncle, she arrives with an attitude and a determination to have a bad time. How can she possibly hope to emulate Alex Crane and become a superspy on a boring old farm But then Max's uncle's shed explodes (just as Linden, the boy next door, is saving Max from sinking into a cowpat-filled dam), and Max discovers that her aunt and uncle are not quite what they seem In fact, they are world-famous scientists working on a Time and Space Machine that will change the world!!! Before long, Max and Linden are caught up in a thrilling adventure involving the real Spyforce (and some all-too-real baddies) which will challenge their bravery, invention and superspying abilities.

Author Bio

When Deb was young, she spent her time imagining she was on great adventures all over the world. When she grew older, she went on them for real. She slept beside alligators in Zaire, sailed down Venetian canals and was thrown in jail by heavily armed men in Nigeria before bribing her way out. After three years she came home and worked in kids' TV at Network Ten for seven years before leaving to write novels about a girl who goes on adventures all over the world. Deb is the author of the Max Remy Superspy and Jasper Zammit (Soccer Legend) series. Max Remy, with her spy partner Linden, fights bad guys from Hollywood to Venice and the heart of the Amazon jungle. The books are available in a few countries, but Deb is mostly chuffed that they're in Malta, where her father and grandfather were born. Jasper Zammit (Soccer Legend) was written with the help of soccer legend Johnny Warren, who sadly died before he could see the first book printed. It is about an 11-year-old called Jasper who dreams of being just such a legend.
