Miyazawa (1896-1933) was a teacher, author, poet, and scientist. His writings reflect his deep commitment to Buddhism as well as his interest in Western technology. Joseph Sigrist lived in northern Japan for many years and has taught religion and Arthurian literature. D.M. Stroud is a poet, translator, and teacher who has lived in Japan since 1975.
