MzVee is a Ghanaian singer, an Afropop, dancehall, and R & B artist. Her groundbreaking music career includes a BET Awards nomination, seven nominations at the 2016 Ghana Music Awards, and winner of the New Artiste of the Year award at the 2015 Ghana Music Awards. Lisbeth Checo is a first-generation Dominican American illustrator living in New York City. Growing up she could usually be found either reading or creating art inspired by her favorite books and characters. Lisbeths work combines a lot of her passions; her feminine portraits and figures are often inspired by fashion and cultural identity. Her colorful illustrations are created using a variety of different mediums including markers, colored pencils, and watercolor. With every piece, Lisbeth strives to create art that is inclusive, diverse, and empowering. Lisbeth has a BFA in Illustration from Parsons School of Design. She has had her illustrations published in numerous magazines and her art has been shown in several exhibitions, including a solo titled The Skin Im In.
