Author Bio

Katherine Chow is a devoted mother of three, happily married to her husband, Josh. Born in Taiwan and raised in Singapore, Australia, and Texas, she is fluent in Mandarin, thanks to her mothers Taiwanese heritage. As a former elementary school teacher, she has a love for childrens literature and finds joy in creating storylines that spark interest and wonder in young readers.

Writing this book has been especially close to her heart, since she began her musical journey at the young age of five. Katherine plays the piano, violin, and pipa. She was in orchestra throughout middle and high school, and she also eventually joined the prestigious Houston Youth Symphony.

In between the joyful chaos of motherhood and finding the best coffee shops, Katherine found a way to channel her creativity by starting a small business, Kindred Roots Collection. She now spends most of her days making concrete planters with her friend and business partner, Jane. As a self-proclaimed crazy plant lady, Katherine nurtures both her family and her greenery. She now resides in Colorado where she enjoys the sunshine and all the beauty of nature the state has to offer.

Jordan Eusebio is a Filipino-Chinese American artist in Los Angeles, California. When shes not pushing pixels as a graphic designer, shes illustrating silly shenanigans inspired by her interests such as art, music, the ocean, groan-worthy puns, and fantasy. In her work, she enjoys mashing together completely different concepts to create funny, whimsical, and weird works of art.

Jordans life as a musician began at age five, when she started learning the piano, and expanded when she joined middle school band as a clarinetist. In high school, she switched to alto saxophone, which she played for marching, concert, and jazz bands. After many years of not playing actively, she missed music and yearned to play in an ensemble again. She decided to learn the cello and now plays with a local community college orchestra to keep that magic alive.
