Description

From award-winning authors Bill Condon and Dianne Bates comes a good-natured story about friendship, family and first pets. When best friends Rory and Trang become the proud owners of a nanny goat, she turns out to be quite a hoof-ful! Jellybean likes escaping, eating everything under the sun and keeping the neighbours awake at night. Still, the boys think she's the best goat in the world. Especially when she gives them a surprise bigger than they could have ever imagined! A baa-rilliant tale suitable for boy and girl readers aged 6+.

Author Bio

Dianne (Di) Bates grew up on a goat farm and goats are her favourite animal, though sadly she doesn't have any in her life now. In 2008, Di was awarded The Lady Cutler Award for distinguished services to children's literature. Bill Condon has written numerous stories, poems and plays for children, and four of his novels have been shortlisted for the Children's Book Council of Australia Book of the Year Award. He has also won the Prime Minister's Literary Award. Bill lives on the south coast of New South Wales with his wife, the well-known children's writer Dianne Bates.
