Author Bio

Charles is a children's picture book author. He has written a number of titles for Wild Dog Books across a range of series. These include Our Past, Extreme Weather, Going Supernova, Then and Now, Australian Animals, Continents of the World and CloseUp. He has also written numerous one-off titles such as Hunters & Hunted, Fantastic Facts, Gross Facts, The Book of the Sun and the Stars, The Big Book of Antarctica, The Big Book of the Bicycle, Community, Culture, Say What! The History of Communication,The Year of the Dog and The Year of the Pig. Jess Racklyeft is a childrens book illustrator, card designer and watercolour aficionado working from a studio out the back of her house in Melbourne. With two little kids shes often busy working with them on art projects and reading many hundreds of picture books, as well as chasing them around the house trying to get them to pose for her next book characters.
