Matt and his mother have gone to a small seaside camping ground for a holiday. Matt has been warned that the area is 'tough' and the local news has announced that a murder has taken place in the week before their arrival. As they arrive, Matt sees a group of kids hanging around. They turn out to be good fun and they fill him in on the house in the bush where, it is rumoured, the murderer lives, with his savage dog, Razor. As evening falls, the leader of the group, Gordo, dares Matt to sneak into the house to show how tough he is. He has to show them something he has taken from inside to prove that he has achieved the task. Not wanting to appear chicken, Matt agrees, only to discover that he's been duped in more ways than one. A gripping thriller that you'll find hard to put down.
