Sarah Jane Lucky Carter is a big-boned, smart-mouthed sixteen-year-old. Willow Moonstone, Sarah s legal guardian for the past five years, has vanished without a trace. June Colbert came to Australia from the UK at the age of six. She obtained a BA and Dip. Ed. at Sydney University and became a secondary school teacher of English, French and Music. In addition to writing books, June also tutors in literacy and English, and has a passion for encouraging young people to discover enjoyment in reading. June's first story was published in the NSW School Magazine in 2001 and since then she has written THE KING OF LARGE, THE LAST BOY and WHAT WILLOW KNEW, all published by Lothian Children's Books.
