Patrick Ness is the award-winning and best-selling author of the Chaos Walking trilogy, More Than This and The Rest of Us Just Live Here. He also wrote the screenplay for the film of A Monster Calls. Jim Kay worked in the archives of Tate Britain before becoming a full-time illustrator. He won the Kate Greenaway Medal in 2012 for his illustrations for Patrick Ness's A Monster Calls.
