Description

This is a beautifully illustrated picture book journey through a hundred-year-old New Orleans home in both English and Spanish.

Claudie lives in a house in the oldest part of New Orleans, a city where Mardi Gras beads dance in the breeze and every corner is steeped in history. Her home is a treasure trove of a hundred years worth of stories, some of which we cannot see, but only feel. Join Claudie as we explore the design and decoration of each room through her creative eye and that of a certain spirit, whose suggestions, for the sake of historical preservation, are always considered.

Written by a New Orleans enthusiast, The House, the Ghost, and Me is the perfect picture book for your little ones with a curious mind for interior design. This bilingual picture book will help them learn the importance of preservation while also empowering them to express their creativity interior design with a not-so-spooky twist.
