Billy Parker was shopping with his mother and was exhausted. He felt a tiny piece of gum would make him feel better, but his mother had another idea about what would be helpful. Billy was not happy with the choices she provided and he decided to take a trip to the local candy store to get the treat he really wanted. His choice of Bubble gum soon turned into the problem that his mother had forecasted. Making a good choice is not always the easiest and Billy soon learned that sometimes you shouldn't always chose what you want!
Gudrun spends much of her day educating and supporting people in making new choices by working as a Registered Professional Counsellor and Wellness Trainer. She is a wife, mother and has 3 adult children and 3 step children who provided most of the training to write a humorous book about making choices. Billy's story with intricate illustrations will evoke an understanding that making mistakes is an excellent opportunity for learning and growth, and above all will cultivate joy.
