A funny little story describing the daily life of a regular young bat, his run-ins with Mr Forster the mean maths teacher, and other adventures including Vamp's dares, the Festival of Exploding Stars (Guy Fawkes), the Shining (Sun) and meeting his dad.
Author of a number of children's books, Birkenhead author Sally Sutton's Roadworks, illustrated by Brian Lovelock, (Walker Books) has been most successful. Auckland author/illustrator Dave Gunson has completed a number of titles for Scholastic, including Wildlife Stuff. More recently he has worked on Diary of a Pukeko, Lucy Davey's Pandora's Potato Romp, Santa and the Reindeer by Maria Farrer, and the charming Will and Woof by Tanya Warren. In addition, he has illustrated two of the popular Kiwi Corkers series. Dave Gunson's Mr Muggs the Library Cat was the Read-Aloud title for NZ's Biggest Storytime as part of LIANZA Library Week 2010.
