Description

This book for all ages, "Don't Eat That.", shares the story of two individuals with different backgrounds who, through caring and understanding, find a path to friendship and trust. This book puts kindness, acceptance, awareness, and empathy front seat in a playful, fun, and highly readable way.

100% of the profits from "Don't Eat That." go to charities supporting the growth of literacy, improving health, and expanding access to the arts.

At a minimum, it's a book made to bring joy to all who open the cover.

At a maximum, it hopes to help make the world a better place for everyone in it...and yes, that includes the penguins and the polar bears, too.

Author Bio

While he has been a lifelong writer and illustrator Don't Eat That is Matt Kiesling's first published book.

Matt lives in Lake Forest, IL with his remarkable wife and daughters, two dogs, a bunch of fish, and a whole menagerie of imaginary friends.

Matthew (Matt) Kiesling started drawing at a young age while growing up in Wisconsin which has probably been voted best place to learn to draw in the whole universe a whole bunch of times.

While he is still learning how to draw and write Matt has also had the opportunity to learn how to jump over tall buildings and make friends with lots of different creatures like dogs, penguins, polar bears, dinosaurs, and popsicle people (which are what a lot of people think are just two popsicles stuck together but Matt knows that those two sticks are really legs and that the popsicle people live in those little white wrapper things just waiting to make friends with people).

Additionally, Matt once tried eating a hamburger with two top pieces of bun and no bottom buns and in doing so discovered, and will probably win a prestigious award, that it tastes pretty much the same.

Another time Matt was driving around with the lid off his coffee and it spilled and he learned never to have a danger beverage in the car with him or anywhere else for that matter.
