Kate Coombs is the author of several books for children including The Secret Keeper. She has taught every grade from kindergarten through college, most recently working with homebound inner-city children. Jake Parker is a freelance illustrator, designer, and comic artist. He is the creator of the Missile Mouse graphic novel series and has worked for Blue Sky Studios on feature films like Horton Hears a Who, Rio, and Epic. Now he lives in Utah with his wife and children working on picture books, comics, and other freelance projects.
