Description

Little Hippo loves his river but even more so he longs for adventure. Rhino is bored of laying under a tree all day, she wants to play and have fun. Together they come up with a plan that will help them both get what they want, or so they believe. Join Little Hippo and his friend Rhino, as they go on a journey of self-discovery.

Fun to read out loud. The characters and plot were devised by a then four year old (they know what they like and what they want to read about!). The story was then further developed by his mama.

Author Bio

Beth Hazell was born and raised in Hertfordshire, England and now lives in North Vancouver, British Columbia with her son, Dominic. They love to make up stories together, watch soccer (go Whitecaps) and explore the North Shore forests in search of bugs. Be Yourself, Little Hippo is their first children's book .Dominic loves to run and ask questions, lots of questions. He is currently very excited about going to school and can't wait to start Kindergarten. Dominic believes hippo's make great heroes, even if they have dirty feet.
