Cats new hat has blown away in the wind; with bold, colourful characters and simple text for young children.

Cat has a new hat, but the wind has other plans. Cat rides his skateboard past various animals in search of his new hat. With colorful, simple illustrations and short, rhyming, easy-to-understand sentences this is part of the Cat's Adventures series of books, aimed at encouraging a love of literacy in emergent readers. Bold illustrations and simple rhyming text enable new readers to develop their vocabulary, as well as encouraging the recognition and understanding of word structure through phonics. Printed as a board book, the story is nicely designed for children and readers of all ages.

'The rhyming text works well, set in simply structured sentences...Cat delights in this toddler page-turner.' Kirkus
