Coming of age story of an 11 year old boy who gets into trouble and now has to spend the summer working at a pet store. There he comes across a lost Pomeranian that fosters. During the summer, he learns about hard work, friendship, the struggles of mom and pop stores versus corporate mega stores, as well as in second chances and belief.
BeeJaye Green, author of Climbing Summerland & Chance, completed his first book at the age of 9, and ever since, hasn't been able to put the pen down. He enjoys watching movies, reading books, and spending time in the outdoors. He enjoys the company of friends and family, especially his mother, Debbie, whom he loves very much. He considers the craft of writing his own little sanctuary, and after losing his father to cancer at the age of 12, it gave him the security blanket he needed to overcome the struggles of losing a parent. Now, at the age of 30, he aspires to become the world's next Mark Twain, but until then, spending time with his wife Dawn and their three dogs keeps him busy enough. BeeJaye lives in Torrance, California.
