Dachy wears a hearing aid. But sometimes, when his friends get too noisy, he likes to turn it off to get some peace and quiet. One day, when his hearing aid is off, Dachy falls asleep and ends up floating down the river towards a waterfall and a hungry crocodile. Can his friends rescue him in time
I love it and would have loved to have read something like that when I was growing up. Having attended quite a few family weekends in the last couple of months, including one for grandparents - the concerns that have been raised have been around supporting children in learning about hearing aids and what they mean to them. This is a great example of how we can support families with this. -- Family Participation Manager * The National Deaf Children's Society *
