Earl the Squirrel had problems. He was much smaller than everyone else. He also had a speech problem. No one liked to be around him, so he had no friends. Even his brothers and sisters didn't like him. "Earl the Squirrel" is a story of how he was able to overcome all of his problems and live a happy life and gain friends and the love of his siblings.
J. Earl has always found joy through the talents the Lord has given him. He has written gospel music and has sung so many beautiful old gospel songs, as a music director of many Baptist churches. He has made a gospel CD entitled Homesick for Heaven. He has also written three faith-based books: Tornado Over Iowa, New Life in Iowa: a sequel to Tornado Over Iowa, and What a Difference Love Makes. His writing has been a joy to him and his family, as he brings out the need for Jesus to be in everyone's life. J. Earl's desire is to express the God-given hope of loving the Lord and knowing Him personally.
