Super-clever Jack gets to try different jobs a dog can do. After having had a pretty special job in Africa looking after orphaned chimps at a sanctuary, Jack-Jack heads for some varied work experience. Is he barking up the wrong tree as he tries to find the perfect job for him.

He tries his paw at police dog training, herding runaway sheep, at search and rescue until he finally finds a job that fits.

Author Bio

Ben Garrod is Professor of Evolutionary Biology and Science Engagement at UEA. He is an award-winning presenter and broadcasts regularly on TV and radio, as well as being an ambassador for key conservation organisations. His non-fiction series Extinct, The Story of Life on Earth (8 titles), and Ultimate Dinosaurs(8 titles) are published by Zephyr. Ben lives in Bristol.

Charli Vince is an illustrator and writer whose studio is in the heart of Norwich, UK. She enjoys nothing more than working on unique stories that leave the reader feeling brave and full of wonder! She can be found rummaging through charity shops, playing tabletop RPGs, or exploring the woods with her rescue dog, Boba.
