Description

A sixth Little Wolf novel featuring this number one cub and pack of friends. Following the success of the Little Wolf series internationally plus the animated film shown at Christmas 2002, a sixth Little Wolf novel will be welcomed by his many fan. Featuring all Little Wolf's friends -- Yeller, Stubbs, Normus, and that pesky little brother Smellybreff in his sailor suit. Little Wolf goes off on another adventure, over the Dark Mountains, through the Perilous Pass, canoes down Riggle River and sails on the Shivery Sea. There he has to put on his best sea legs and, using his Kite with Yellow Eyes [not afraid of the Dark] as a sail, he overcomes the terrors of tidy waves [sic] and temper-tantrum seas [sic] to find the hidden gold. Once again his old adversary Mister Twister the fox makes an appearance, as does the ghost of Uncle Bigbad. Another unique book written by Ian Whybrow with hilarious illustrations by Tony Ross.

Author Bio

Ian Whybrows many popular successes range from picture books to novels for older children. Best known for his original humour, he always writes with adult readers as well as young ones in mind. He has a brilliant ear for voices, and takes pride in the fact that his work reads aloud very well. I loved being read to as a child, he says. And I loved thesense that my parents were enjoying it too. For me, thats the acid test for any book that theres something in it for everyone to enjoy. Ian lives in Harrow-on-the-Hill with his wife, Anne, and Almeley, Herefordshire during the holidays. They have two daughters: Susanna and Lucy.
