Imagine a time when "me" was the only word that people knew. In his first children's book, Pulitzer Prize-winning dramatist William Saroyan offers a fanciful fable that speculates on how members of the human race actually started talking to each other. Recounted with a spirited simplicity, this wondrous story is illustrated with imaginative pictures that glow with the warmth of watercolors.
