Description

Peek-A-Boo Zoo is a fully illustrated picture book, that takes parent and child on a tour of the zoo in search of elusive animals. It is a wonderful educational experience that combines rhyming, brightly colored illustrations, animals at the zoo, and the universally known game of peek-a-boo. Animal mentions in the book include: zebra, koala bear, giraffe, monkey, owl, wolves, lion, snake, swans, tortoise, hare, tiger, alligator, ostrich, seal, penguin, peacock and gnu. The book has a special place at the end of the story where a parent can include a picture of the child amongst the animals of the Peek-A-Boo Zoo.

Author Bio

Veronica Morris, originally from Chicago, Illinois, is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She is a part-time artist, author and illustrator of children's books. She is currently retired and living in Michigan, with her husband and three fur babies. She has two adult sons who in their childhood inspired her to write and encourage her to get published. She also works on commissioned art pieces, mixed media and collage, and has a uniquely different approach to visually tactile work. Peek-a-Boo Zoo, was originally written almost three decades ago, and is now ready for children and parents to share her journey.
