Snuggle up with Poppy and Sam, and enjoy these ten gentle tales of their adventures on Apple Tree Farm. Stories include a runaway tractor, a journey on an old steam train, a camping trip and lots more. Each story features charming illustrations by Stephen Cartwright, and there's a Little Yellow Duck to spot in every picture too.
Heather Amery was born and brought up in Bath, Somerset. Heather has written over a hundred books for children, including alphabet books, science and history books, craft books, classical fairy tales, a series for beginner readers called Farmyard Tales, Bible stories, and Greek Myths. She has also compiled word books, song books, and books of poetry. Lesley dreamed of being a writer, but studied law as her mother insisted she had "something to fall back on". Since joining Usborne Publishing, she has written and edited hundreds of books, from funny rhyming stories to an award-winning history book. Nowadays, she is often found recording books, too, in Usborne's very own recording studio.
