Schools out for the summer and Simon Seahorse has already thought of a million exciting things to do. But then he learns he has to spend the first two weeks of his vacation back in school! The good thing is, his best friend, Olive Octopus, will be there too. But when Olive becomes buddies with Cam Crab, bonding over their love of facts, Simon begins to wonder where he and his stories fit in. Is Olive still his best friend, or has she had enough of his tall tales

With easy-to-read language and illustrations on almost every page, The Not-So-Tiny Tales of Simon Seahorse chapter books are perfect for emerging readers.

Author Bio

Cora Reef has been telling tales for as long she can remember. She might not have grown up in a large family like Simons, but her big imagination has always kept her company. Cora lives near Boston, Massachusetts, with her family, where she is never far from the ocean.

Jake McDonald graduated from the University of Brighton with a degree in illustration and now specializes in digital illustration for kids. His work can be found across the world, proudly sitting on bookshop shelves in Asia, Europe, and the United States. Taking a playful approach to illustration, Jake is inspired by all things storytelling, from board games to Studio Ghibli. He credits a childhood meeting with Chris Riddell for showing him the potential for the career that he loves.
