Karen Hill is the author of several inspirational books, including, My Faith Journal, The Real Me Only God Can See and Grandmothers Book of Promises. Ms. Hill lives in Boerne, Texas, with her family.

Steve Johnson and his partner, Lou Fancher, have worked as a creative team for more than twenty-six years, illustrating more than forty-five childrens books, including My Many Colored Days by Dr. Seuss, Maya Angelous Amazing Peace, and Margery Williamss The Velveteen Rabbit, adapted by Lou Fancher. They live with their son in the San Francisco Bay area.
