Lovely early reader about an Eid party. Celebrates Eid, without specifically referring to which one it could be (there are two during the year). In 2020, Eid al-Fitr occurs in May. Eid al-Adha falls at the end of July/start of August. The book will be available for both. The book focuses on a Muslim family in America. The school bus is unmistakably American, although it does use British English spelling. The book explores the feelings of sadness invoked in being left out, but with a positive ending. Full of Islamic terminology, this is an excellent introduction to a Muslim family environment, with a helpful glossary to explain things at the end.
