Join the sun, the moon, and a star as they work together to help a young seedling grow tall. A story of determination and unexpected endings, "Shine On Me" emphasizes the virtue of friendship. This whimsical tale displays how we rely on one another to accomplish our goals and how some of those goals are impossible without teamwork.
"Shine On Me" is a powerful, yet light-hearted tale that is a perfect bedtime read. Imparting the value of cooperation, readers will see how the natural world works together and how we can learn from its determination and camaraderie.
Joe is retired from the U.S. Federal Government after 35 years of service. He is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy and has engineering degrees from Virginia Tech and George Mason University. This is his third published children's book. He lives in Virginia with his wife Mary Jo. Together, they have six grown children, an affectionate pet rabbit, and three not-so-affectionate parakeets.
