Author Bio

Ellie Peterson is the author and illustrator behind How to Hug a Pufferfish. A middle school science teacher by day, author and artist by night, she is inspired by teaching young readers to question how they know what they know. She is also the illustrator of It's a Round, Round World and The Reason for the Seasons by Joulia Copernicus and Bea's Bees written by Katherine Pryor. Ellie lives with her family in Seattle, Washington.
